We are also an alcohol & drug free event.

Adelaide Zombie Walk was recently awarded "Community Event of the Year" in the 2018 Australia Day Awards. We are a 100% not-for-profit, charitable, local community event

Adelaide Zombie Walk

Adelaide's most unique community event.

Adelaide Zombie Walk

In 2009, Jason & Ann Bansemer took on the Adelaide Zombie Walk and personally funded the free event, partnering with Foodbank SA to raise funds for those in need within the local community.

In 2014, they incorporated as Adelaide Zombie Walk Inc, worked with project managers and took on sponsors in order to continue to bring Adelaide this great event that by then was attracting 10,000+ participants.

Adelaide Zombie Walk is a registered not-for-profit with a 100% charitable purpose. We remain a FREE community event that is open for everyone to attend as a participant or a spectator. We are all about local community and helping local families and individuals in the form of hunger relief via Foodbank SA and the local charity sector, and Foodbank's wonderful school breakfast programs.

Ann & Jason still head the Adelaide Zombie Walk, and would like to thank all the individuals, families and businesses that have supported the event over the years, and look forward to continuing to bring you Adelaide's best free event.
